Luxury Brand Consultant Suzanne Hader Named Panelist for Luxury Summit 2008

NEW YORK (Feb. 6, 2008) – Suzanne Hader, principal of brand and marketing consultancy 400twin (400twin.com), has been selected as an expert panelist for “Luxury Summit 2008: An Inside Look at the Luxury Market.” Sponsored by the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, it will be held March 4 at the Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, Calif.

The panel, moderated by Donald Straszheim, vice chairman, Roth Capital Partners, LLC, will examine the effects of the fluctuating economic climate on the high-end market, and discuss the latest trends, forecasts and strategies in luxury consumerism in the areas of retail, investment, hospitality, travel and more.

Said Hader: “In an economic downturn, brands must more carefully consider what type of luxury customer they want to target. Not all of these consumers are rich. Such ‘aspirational’ customers will spend less in other areas to purchase high-end items. And wealthy luxury customers typically respond by spending differently rather than less.

“Part of the Luxury Summit 2008 discussion will be about how companies can identify customers’ patterns and inclinations in different situations in order to respond appropriately and continue to fulfill their needs,” she added.

New York-based 400twin provides expert evaluation, strategic direction and tactical planning to enable high-end brands to achieve “brand-devotional” behavior among their customers. The firm serves clients in the beauty, fashion, travel and hospitality industries, working to establish their brands as unequivocally luxurious in the minds of a discriminating and thoughtful market segment.

Luxury Summit 2008 is for investment, marketing, brokerage, retail, real estate, travel, hospitality and other professionals interested in the luxury market.
